Christmas Night Market This Thursday!

Hi all!

An early New Years resolution is to use my blog more often!
So to start off I want to let you know about this Thursday's Night Market at Camden Lock Market!
I'll be sharing a stand with Nancy Rose Jewellery for this one night event.
It should be great Christmassy fun and the perfect time to buy gifts or pick out what you want for Christmas and start dropping some big hints!

The Night Market rocks into December with another amazing line up for you. Our glam-tastic Jewellery Quarter takes over the Lower Market Hall with sparkling loveliness, just perfect for Christmas gifts. Take a design-your-own perfume workshop with The Perfume Studio and enjoy Christmas songs with a jazzy vibe played by our jazz quartet. Most Wanted

I've joined a group of 5 other designers to take over the beautiful NumberNinetyFour gallery in Columbia Road.

As a collective we're called Most Wanted! It's a beautiful show in a beautiful shop and we're very proud of it, come in and see us!

Most Wanted: Six designer jewellery brands are joining creative forces to open a series of seasonal pop-up shops during 2012. The first of these temporary boutiques takes up residence this Spring at NumberNinetyFour, the well-known jewellery gallery set in the heart of East London’s charming Columbia Road, and runs from 6th - 29th April.

The six brands taking part in the Most Wanted collaboration are: Amy Keeper, Karen Morrison, Katerina Damilos, MIRPURI, Nancy Rose and Poly Philippou. Their latest collections of uniquely designed contemporary jewellery are for sale in the store, showcasing versatile pieces that suit every style and budget and can be worn from day to evening.

The boutique opens between 11.00am - 6.00pm on Saturday, 10am - 5.00pm on Sunday, and on weekdays by appointment. The designers behind the participating brands will be available to discuss their work and private commissions.

I've been featured in TimeOut with my handmade bouquet pendants, which can be personalised to hold a photograph of your loved ones, to keep with you on your special day .

Approx 3cmx2cm, the pendant is made from sterling silver, with a silver beaded effect around the setting and a flower print texture on the reverse. Your photograph is set behind a rock crystal cabochon. Hung from an ivory ribbon this pendant can then be tied around your bouquet for your wedding day. It will make a beautiful keepsake of your big day or you can add a chain and wear it as a pendant.

To have your pendant personalised, scan in the photograph you wish to use, at 300dpi, or post to me for scanning and I will return it. The copy will then be resized to add to the pendant and your photograph will not be harmed.

Each pendant is £100 including P&P.

Cufflinks can also be personalised. Sterling silver with a vintage effect setting and approx 1.5cm round, your photograph is set beneath a rock crystal cabochon.

You can have the same image in each cufflink or a different one on either arm.

I'm on the countdown to Origin now (September is coming frighteningly quickly!) and so I will be using my Origin sticker on everything! Please do come along to see the show, it's been my ambition since I started to exhibit at Origin so it's all very exciting!

Go, Go, Go!!!

Hi all Sorry it's been so long but I've had a very busy start to the year!

I have my new 'Spyglass' range which is coming along nicely. Inspired by a spyglass in a children's book I have been working on a range of jewellery based on spyglasses. All sterling silver that's been gold and black rhodium plated, this range still has a vintage feel, and I hope shares a sense of narrative and time with my vintage postcard range. Let me know what you think!

I also have news of 3 upcoming shows which I'll soon be adding listings for individually. Firstly Made in Clerkenwell at the end of May, then a group exhibition at Craft Central as part of London Jewellery week at the beginning of June, then mid June my first wedding show at Craft Central's Get Hitched!

This week is Made 10 in Brighton's Corn Exchange, which if last year was anything to go by will be a lovely show once again. It's a great craft fair with a wide range of exhibitors including boat builders, artists, clothes makers, and jewellery. It's the perfect place to kick start your christmas shopping!

MADE10 returns to the beautiful Corn Exchange in the heart of Brighton offering the public the opportunity to buy original and exceptional design and craft from the best local and national makers. It also provides space for the designer / makers to sell direct to the public and to build a relationship with buyers, potential buyers, galleries and craft suppliers.

Now in it's fifth year MADE10 has become firmly established as a friendly, accessible and high quality event, attracting over 5000 visitors each year who delight at the quality and extensive range of work.

MADE showcases over 100 contemporary and highly original makers and designers across all media. With jewellery, furniture, ceramics, textiles, clothing and the odd quirky pieces thrown in - the fair offers beautiful handcrafted objects to suit everyone's taste and budget.

Handmade in Britain

I'll be showing at Handmade in Britain at Chelsea Town Hall this week, a lovely show with the best in handmade craft and jewellery. I have 2 new ranges I'll be exhibitng for the first time! Come along and get your Christmas shopping started early!!!

Handmade in Britain is now in its 4th year and we are once again returning to our most favourite and fantastic venue - Chelsea Old Town Hall, London to showcase and promote innovative and talented Designer Makers who make their work in Britain in one of the following disciplines; glass, ceramics, textiles, fashion, furniture, silversmith, jewellery, paper, print-making, tableware and metal work.

The show dates are 27th October – 30th October 2010.

I'll be taking over Craft Central's Pop-Up Shop (21 Clerkenwell Green) along with fellow designer-makers Bronagh Kennedy and Amanda Li Hope, for one week from Monday 11th - Friday 15th October 12.00-6.30pm everyday. Come along and get a head start on your Christmas shopping or treat yourself to a special piece of handmade designer jewellery to wear to all your Christmas events!!

Busy busy busy

Well I know it's been a long time since I've update this page but there's been a lot going on.

My jewellery is currently being shown at the beautiful Northern Print Gallery in Newcastle.

Also, from the end of August I will also have jewellery at Platform JewelleryGallery in London's Hatton Garden, taking part in their Autumn Showcase exhibition.

October and November are looking very exciting with 4 shows which I will post details of asap, and also 2 new jewellery lines which I will soon be posting pictures of.

Made in Clerkenwell

As you'll know from my Blog I've recently moved into a workshop at Craft Central.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of Craft Central and so excited about opening the studio doors for my first Made in Clerkenwell as one of its inhabitants!

From the 26th - 29th November with last night shopping on Friday 27th, this is a great opportunity to get some really unique, fabulous christmas gifts for family friends and yourself!

New Workshop!

Well it's been all go the last month or so as I've moved into a new workshop at Craft Central.
I'm extremely excited to be among the artists resident at Craft Central, and it means I will be taking part in their Open Studios event in November. More details to follow.

July, Pop-Up-Shop

Thinking ahead to the summer, from July 13th - 19th Amy Keeper Jewellery will be taking over the Craft Central Pop-Up Shop alongside Bronagh Kennedy and Nancy Shepherd. The Pop-Up Shop, is a great concept, whereby designer-makers rent the Corner Shop for a week at a time. We're really looking forward to our week there and we're hoping to make the shop look great to give customers a lovely experience.

Coutts London Jewellery Week is fast approaching, and this year I will be taking part in Brilliance at Craft Central, from Tues 9th to Fri 12th June.
